The Shatners talk to Lisa Ling at the red carpet "Arrivals Special"... "Arrivals Special" interview with Lisa Ling William and Elizabeth Shatner Lisa: I am here with the legendary William Shatner, and his beautiful wife Elizabeth; and William is nominated tonight for Best Supporting Actor for his work in "Boston Legal." Now, William, you have been in so many hugely famous TV series -- "Star Trek" and "T.J. Hooker" -- but it's your first Golden Globe nomination. How are you feeling about it? Shatner: Well, I... I feel good, of course. And I'm delighted that, uh... that they decided to nominate me. Lisa (to Elizabeth): And how has he been, around the house? Elizabeth Shatner Elizabeth: Normal. (laughs) Absolutely normal. Lisa: No chaos, or anything like that? Elizabeth: Football, until 15 minutes before we're ready to go. That's exactly how he was! Shatner: We had to TiVo the game, and nobody's allowed to mention the score of the playoff game! That's going on right now. Lisa: Do you have big plans for later on tonight? Shatner: Yeah, go watch the end of the football game! Lisa: You're not going to go to the parties? Come on! Shatner: We'll go to a party, yeah. Lisa: How do you like working on a series again? Shatner: I love it. It's a wonderful series; wonderful material. James Spader, uh, Candice Bergen, the whole group are wonderful actors. It's a joy to be on that show; joy to be associated with it.
